Dr. Malek grew up in Tehran, Iran. He lived as an exchange student in Wahpeton, North Dakota before returning to Iran and graduating from Tehran University School of Medicine in 1976.

Dr. Malek finished his training in general surgery and became board certified as a general surgeon, and completed his training and became a board-certified plastic surgeon thereafter. He subsequently completed a fellowship in head, neck, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas before returning to Wilmington in 1984.

Since then, Dr. Malek has been in practice for plastic and reconstructive surgery and has changed alongside the innovative and technological growth that is forever changing within this field. A significant amount of patients are great candidates for non-invasive or minimally invasive surgeries, with smaller or no incisions, allowing short recovery times and very natural results. Jason received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College in Exercise Science and Sports Studies followed by his Masters Degree and Physician Assistant Studies at The School of Health Related Professions, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.    

Jason is Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  He has been practicing dermatology for over 23 years.  His specialties include general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.  He enjoys working with all age groups and treats various dermatological conditions including, but not limited to, skin cancers, skin cancer screenings, acne, psoriasis, eczema, warts, rosacea, fungal rashes, pigmentation changes, conditions of the hair and nails.  He has extensive experience in dealing with hair loss and skin of color.  

Jason has a strong surgical background enabling him to perform various procedures including biopsies and the removal of non-cancerous and cancerous lesions.  He has taught multiple surgical workshops.  He has sat on numerous boards and has lectured throughout the country.  He served as the President of the New Jersey Society of Physician Assistants. He believes in a comprehensive approach to an individual’s skincare needs.  

Graduating with the highest honors from Dartmouth College, Dr. Pomper attended Duke University School of Medicine and graduated in 1985. He then started training in neurosurgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics but realized that his calling was in oncology so he uprooted himself and trained at the world famous Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. It was there that he met the woman of his dreams with whom he was able to build a wonderful family. 

Over the years, Dr. Pomper noticed that many patients were not able to receive the cancer treatment they needed due to illness or immobility issues. Working for ten years with a physics team he was able to create and patent the concept of mobile radiation therapy in order to bring radiation treatment to the homes of these patients. For the past 25 years, Dr. Pomper has been pursuing this dream of serving patients who otherwise would be ineligible for radiation treatments by offering patients an alternative to office or hospital visits.

From treating keloids and superficial cancers, with low energy superficial radiotherapy to high dose rate brachytherapy treatment on his mobile units, Dr. Pomper is also Cyberknife and Gamma Knife certified and has participated in thousands of such procedures treating patients with these highly refined techniques. 

When Dr. Pomper has downtime he is often exercising, especially swimming, and spending time with his wonderful family. 

Alexandra is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant licensed in both New Jersey and Delaware, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with minors in Biology, Chemistry and Community Health from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. She then earned her Master of Science as a Physician Assistant at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. Alexandra is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Prior to entering dermatology, her experiences included adult and pediatric outpatient medicine for 5 years where she excelled in managing and treating patients involving different specialties of medicine, especially skin conditions. Alexandra has had a long-standing passion for dermatology and is also trained in various advanced cosmetic procedures. She is committed to providing high quality care by staying up to date with the latest advancements in dermatology and strives to educate her patients to ensure they possess a thorough understanding of their conditions and treatment plans. Alexandra performs skin cancer screenings and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions in pediatric and adult patients.

She enjoys building a strong rapport and relationship with her clients to collaboratively achieve their clearest and healthiest skin. Alexandra believes in personalized care that allows her patients to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
